Our Heritage

Abaisanza is one of the traditional clans in Uganda. The Abaisanza Ba Rumogi belongs to the group of Abaisanza scattered in different parts of Uganda especially in Bunyoro kingdom.

Abaisanza have different totems depending on their grandfathers and lineage. For example, Abaisanza Ba Rumogi have two totems; "Ekitooke Kitaina Mukira" literally meaning a plantain bunch without tail and "Ente entiimba" meaning a brown cow with white spots.
